We all go through different seasons in our lives. Sometimes we choose to make changes that will improve something for us, and other times we're thrust into changes that may not have necessarily been wanted. But through it all, we can take a few steps to ensure that we are still being conscious about the decisions that we make and stepping into our power to move forward with grace, strength, and confidence.
Because at the end of the day, change is a part of life and it allows us to learn, grow, and adapt to ultimately become a better version of ourselves. So instead of trying to resist and feeling stressed by change, even if you wanted it, there are some things you can do to lean into these transition periods and see them as more of opportunities rather than stress points.
In this video, I walk you through three key things to do as you go through any life changes in order to maintain your confidence and sense of self. You don't have to just accept that these times will be no fun or be super stressful. You can choose to take meaningful actions that will put you in an energy of empowerment and compassion for yourself every step of the way. So, you can finally start embracing every season of your life, rather than just the ones that are all roses and sunshine.

Hey sweet friend,
You know, we all go through changes and transitions in our lives. Sometimes they’re of our choosing, and other times it comes as a result of the ebbs and flows of life. And when it comes down to it, change is unavoidable and also gives us the opportunity to grow in many different ways.
It allows us a chance to see things differently, create a better way of being, learn lessons to support us, and shift into more awareness and understanding. So instead of resisting or feeling stressed by any changes that you may be going through in your life during any given season, you can find ways to embrace the transition and appreciate it for what it’s giving you.
So today, I wanna give you three specific ways that will help you to go through change with more confidence and ease. Because at the end of the day, even the bumpy parts of life can be enjoyed. It’s just a matter of choosing how you want to approach them and what energy you want to show up with in order to step into your best self even through all of the change.
Okay, so first of all, you want to keep your focus on the big vision that you have for your life. Especially if this is a change that you are initiating for yourself in order to create a positive impact in your life, then you want to continually stay focused on the prize: the big picture of what you’re trying to create.
This is gonna motivate you to keep going even when things get complicated, tricky, or stressful. It’s gonna help you to stay aligned with the reasoning behind the decisions that you’ve made and ensure that your energy can stay connected to what you’re trying to attract. So you can keep coming back to this vision and remember the feelings that you ultimately want to feel or the reality that will provide that for you and how the things you’re doing now are creating that for you.
Now, if you haven’t deliberately chosen to make these changes in your life, that’s okay. You just may need to look under the surface a bit and consider how the things happening in this season of your life may be presenting you with an opportunity, a lesson, or a new course that could take you to becoming the person you’re meant to be.
Sometimes we can’t always see it from where we are now, but you can at least try to connect the dots for yourself and focus on how the changes may actually be for your highest good. Because as you do this, you’re still raising your vibration in the process by seeing the good in what’s happening and consciously relating it somehow to the life that you actually want to manifest.
So no matter if you’ve implemented the changes deliberately or not, continue to focus on the vision that you have for your life and directly correlate it somehow to what is happening for you now. You want to energetically make the connection for how these changes are in your best interest. Find some kind of silver lining if you have to because there’s always something to be grateful for. And then anchor into those feelings as you move forward with your eye on where you’re ultimately headed.
Next, it’s important to stay really grounded and centered during this time. It can be really easy to get into your head and start spinning with all of the things that feel overwhelming or stressful. Change can be difficult, even if you want those changes. So you’ve gotta be understanding with yourself and know that it’s totally okay to get overwhelmed sometimes.
The best thing you can do in these instances is to come back to center. Take a few moments to get really present, feel your body right where it is, and focus on all of your senses. Breathe deeply and pay attention to the environment around you. You can focus on any sensations in your body, the sounds around you, or even just connect with the earth by walking barefoot or sitting out in the sun.
This is meant to give you some mindful moments where you aren’t solely in your mind but rather that you are feeling your present reality in a very tangible way. This practice will support you in grounding and anchoring yourself to feel more stable, secure, and connected. So take time regularly to do activities that allow you to come back to this present moment and release all of the anxiousness of what’s coming in the future. Just “be” for a few moments and feel the strength that ties you to the earth, your physical body, and this reality.
Plus, whenever you’re feeling like you are truly getting overwhelmed with all that’s happening around you or to you, it’s always a good idea to come back to a grounding practice like this. By just giving yourself even thirty seconds to breathe and connect with your senses, you’ll be able to calm your body and feel more at peace with the way everything is.
So many times we get stuck in our heads and imagine everything to be so much worse that it actually is. We get pulled into lower energetic vibrations and get stuck feeling helpless or frustrated. Instead of giving into these moments, you can consciously choose to come back to center and give yourself the space to reclaim your power in order to move forward with more confidence and positivity.
Then the third thing that you should really be doing when you’ve got changes happening in your life is to focus on one thing at a time. When we try to take on too much or get absolutely everything done at once, we end up not really doing anything well. And in the process, we feel extremely exhausted and overburdened. That’s not what your journey should be about. Even if you’re going through a bumpy time in your life. You’re still meant to find some kind of joy in it and experience life from the highest level of energy that you possibly can.
So to support yourself in being able to do that, you need to take it one step at a time. There’s no reason to “boil the ocean” as some people say. But if you intentionally choose to take things piece by piece so that you can actually wrap your head around what is going on at any given time, then you’re giving yourself the best chance for success.
Because you’re allowing for a lightness in your mind, body, and spirit as you go. Rather than piling a ton of things onto your shoulders that your calendar can’t handle, you can’t physically manage, and that you mentally and emotionally don’t want to deal with, you can instead choose to respect yourself enough to take it one step at a time.
And by doing that, you just may actually find that you’ll get things moving a lot faster and easier than you would have if you had piled it all on at once.
Okay, so you wanna stay focused on the big vision that you have for your life. Consider why you’re going through this transition and how it’s actually going to support you in the long run, and really connect to the emotion and feelings behind that.
Then, you’re gonna regularly stay grounded and centered by connecting with your present reality through breathing exercises, focusing on your senses, or just being out in nature. Give yourself the time you need to anchor and feel stable as much as necessary because this will really help you to continue forward.
And then, just put one foot in front of the other without trying to do absolutely everything all at once. That way you can keep your mind, body, and spirit focused on just enough to keep you moving forward in a way that shows compassion to yourself as well as the future self that you’re becoming with each step.
