What Your Future Self Wants You To Do

Many times we set goals based on what we think we should be doing or what's expected of us. And that just keeps us in a place of staying busy to keep up with what's going on around us or to meet predetermined ideas from ourselves or others of what success should look like.

Yet, living our lives this way isn't a means to an endpoint that will fill us up. It isn't a way for us to ever get to a point where we feel incredibly fulfilled and joyful and abundant if it doesn't actually connect with the life that will truly connect with our souls. The life that will allow us to make the impact we actually want to make or to accomplish the things that will make us feel a certain way in our hearts.

Those are the opportunities that your future self is nudging you to take. Those are the goals that are worthy of your time and energy right now rather than the busy work on a to-do list. Those are the priorities that in reality will shift the course of your life for the better.

But you can choose to change the way that you set your goals and look at them as a means to start becoming your future self rather than just going through the motions of life to achieve what's expected. Every time you set another goal for yourself, you have a choice about where you're going to put your energy. Every time you decide to put some time toward one thing rather than another, you have a choice to embody a little bit more of your future self or to keep her at a distance.

You get to choose what you devote your time to, and it's up to you to choose something that your future self will thank you for.

So go ahead and watch the video below and consider how you’re future self is nudging you on the path to your highest level of being.
